A good capture overall, there are a few heads that can be seen at the bottom of the screen throughout the show, but it is worked around and doesn't block more than the actors feet. There are about 3 minutes of blackouts during miracle, and a few other quick dropouts throughout the show. Telly is partially captured. Its filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, speech and playbill scans

NOTES: A nice capture from the front orchestra, that results in some great close ups! This DVD gives you a perspective that most Newsies captures’ cannot. Zachary Sayle and Morgan Keene are huge standouts and gave fantastic performances. The action is followed nicely given the proximity to the stage, but some pieces of action have the focus delayed or are missed, as you can probably assume, dance numbers are hard to follow this close to the stage. Chaz gave a very funny BCEFA speech that is included (audio only). This capture is more wobbly than the (3/17) performance given where it was filmed in the theatre, near perfect audio that is synced with my Zoom H2.

NOTES: Blind lapshot with no zooms, and there are frequently two heads in the way, and the angle is occasionally lopsided slightly. Other issues: Curly being out of the shot for most of The Surrey With The Fringe On Top; shakiness and my hands/playbill being visible during applause breaks because I had to clap; head obstruction during I Cain't Say No; some floorshots during Dream Ballet; mic feedback during louder parts; and random bits where I was focusing on the wrong thing/person due to shooting blind. There's also some parts where the audio cuts off for a second, doesn't perfectly align with the frames, or the video freezes or goes dark while the audio keeps playing. Neither of these glitches last for more than a second, but still must be noted.

Brittneyann Accetta (Kelly), Katie Johantgen (Angela Martin and Others), Megan Carver (Phyllis/Meredith), Michael Santora (Dwight Schrute), Sarah Mackenzie Baron (Michael Scott), Taylor Coriell (Pam Beesly and Erin Hannon), Tom McGovern (Jim Halpert and Andy Bernard)
NOTES: One major head blocking view, but doesn't get in the way of most action.

Damon Daunno (Curly McLain), Rebecca Naomi Jones (Laurey Williams), Mary Testa (Aunt Eller), James Davis (Will Parker), Anthony Cason (Cord Elam), Patrick Vaill (Jud Fry), Sasha Hutchings (alt Ado Annie), Will Brill (Ali Hakim), Chelsea Williams (u/s Gertie Cummings), Mitch Tebo (Andrew Carnes), Will Mann (Mike), Demetia Hopkins-Greene (alt Lead Dancer)

NOTES: National theatre production starring Hugh Jackman. Mostly filmed in a studio with partial scenes filmed at the Olivier stage. Note from Blvd-on-Sunset: There exists a 17GB direct BluRay rip (REMUX) of this recording along with subtitles.

NOTES: RARE FIND! Amazingly good quality for a video of this age, with only minimal generational loss. This video was probably made for a cast member, or maybe for media use at it was filmed from a tripod, with sound patched in directly from the sound board. (It's great to see Christine Ebersol as Ado Annie.) A- Sometimes listed as BROADWAY with Harry Groener (Will Parker)

NOTES: (not Master's notes) Beginning from pre-show where the comedy 'bit' of the set breaking starts. Throughout, very clearly shot with no obstructions, in a mixture of wides and closes, following the action well. I think it's shot from the front of the circle. Tentacles), Gaelen Gilliland (The Mayor), Brian Ray Norris (Eugene Krabs), Wesley Taylor (Sheldon Plankton), Catherine Ricafort (Karen the Computer), Jai'len Christine Li Josey (Pearl Krabs), Kelvin Moon Loh (Perch Perkins), Brandon Espinoza (Patchy the Pirate), Allan K Washington (Gary/Larry the Lobster), Abby C Smith (Mrs. Puff), JC Schuster (Old Man Jenkins), Tom Kenny (French Narrator)
NOTES: Filmed from the front row, so no obstruction. Once again, a lot of wandering and missed action. Filmed from a camera that does allow the master to see what is being captured. Closing night. Missing certain songs and scenes. Act 1 ends at Super Sea Star Saviour, Act 2 is missing from the end of the volcano scene to the finale. Sound is a little fuzzy but the audience is roaring with cheer! Especially when Ethan
makes his appearance at the beginning of act 1, you might need to turn down your volume. 720P

NOTES: Starts at the beginning of "I Just Wanna" and missing part of "Mattie's Lament." The theater was really full tonight so there are a good number of heads in this video, but they are worked around to the best of my ability. This is a super small theater (less than 160 seats) and at times the cast members were definitely singing to the camera and honestly giving their best performances because of it. All of the things on the upper level (the bathroom, the pathway, and the kitchen) are captured perfectly, and the zooms on the lower level (the living room and bench) look good as well. Obviously because this is a murder mystery kind of show the lighting can get a little bit dark, but my camera handles low lighting incredibly well. This is honestly the best video you could expect from this venue

NOTES: This concert version of the show is abridged with shortened scenes, simple costumes, and no sets or choreography, but Jeremy, Solea, and Karen are absolutely phenomenal with soaring vocals and emotional performances. Very well captured with no dropouts, no obstruction, and no washout. The stage is filmed directly most of the time; the screens are occasionally filmed, usually when the actors are not onstage. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

NOTES: Stunning production of this revival. Josefina and Karen still steal the show. The cast was on fire and there was a lot of energy in the audience as it was the first performance on Broadway. There are some changes from the DC run, which work better. Beautiful production and capture with no obstructions.
