NOTES: Final performance! Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. Few obstructions. Only in the wide shots when there are two heads on either side of the frame, but filmer does his/her best to shoot around them. External audio fed into video from MD recorder, so audio is very clear. A mix of close-ups and wider shots when multiple people were on stage to see their interactions. This was a gut-wrenchingly sad performance. Most of the cast members were in tears at some point or another during the show. In particular, Stephanie was sobbing through "I Just Might" and Allison started sobbing at the end of "One of the Boys". A few minor ad-libs and mishaps. One being when Allison pulled out a tape measure during the urinals bit of "One of the Boys". The cast was sad but they were clearly trying to have the times of their lives and go out with a bang. And they fed off the audience energy which was insane and very supportive.

NOTES: Closing show! Or “rock concert” if you ask Christy Altomare. Yeah so this is a pretty obstructed video. Everyone was really excited so people were standing up, people were moving around, and honestly I had a little trouble paying attending to my viewfinder with all of the tears streaming down my face. Like Beetlejuice I would say it’s mostly like highlights, but all of the things that happen in the center part of the stage are captured really well and the video is DEFINITELY Christy centric. “Journey to the Past” is complete and gorgeous and you will cry. First act starts around when Anya meets Dmitry and the second act starts during “Crossing A Bridge.”

NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of this moving musical. Kelli and Steven do a divine job in the roles and the music is wonderfully written and performed. Really a nice piece of Theatre! A There is a short blackout in the beginning of Act 1 and 2. Sometimes during Act 1 there is a head that blocks the right side of the stage and a bar on the left during the wide shots, but over all it's worked around pretty well and doesn't hide most of the action! There's significantly less blocking in Act 2.

NOTES: Beautiful HD close-ups but some long drop-outs and quite a few obstructed scenes. The rake in the mezzanine at the Neil Simon kinda stinks and I'm pretty sure the ushers were playing flashlight tag with each other the entire show. but I began to care a lot less as the night went on Video is very Cher-centric...choreography in "Dark Lady" is captured beautifully, but for the rest of the show I was mostly focused on getting those Stephanie, Teal, and Micaela zooms. We start at the scene before "Half Breed" and when Stephanie tells everyone to stand up for the finale it's all over for my filming ability.

Like Beetlejuice I would say it’s mostly like highlights, but all of the things that happen in the center part of the stage are captured really well and the video is DEFINITELY Christy centric. “Journey to the Past” is complete and gorgeous and you will cry.

NOTES: Two different performances of act 1 and one of act 2, filmed three different nights. Both act 1 and act 2 end about 5 minutes before the end of the act. Not great quality, the camera was often aimed too high or aimed shakily, butit was my first time filming a show and I was using a camera without a viewfinder and it's something from the tour. Act 2 was filmed during the last performance of the tour in St. Paul. Please only trade or gift, do not ever sell.
